Sacred Skin-African Black Soap Cleanser combines the ancient recipe of African Black Soap with nourishing sweet almond oil, hydrating and regenerative babassu oil and uplifting grapefruit and palmarosa oils as well as detoxifying bentonite clay. With this combination of organic and nourishing ingredients, we have created a cleanser that allows your skin to really radiate it's natural beauty.

How can this one cleanser help with all different types of skin? 

African Black Soap is considered by many to be Africa's best kept beauty secret. In our blend we have added non-comedogenic oils oils that regenerate, moisturise and leave your skin happy and glowing all whilst removing any dirt or makeup. Making this blend perfect for all skin types. 

We have spent months testing this and are so excited for you to try this. Every single one of our test subject are absolutely in love this cleanser. 

Not only can you use it on your face, but it makes an excellent body wash as well as beautiful shave balm.

Directions

Take a blueberry sized portion into your hands, add a little water to make a nice lather, wash your skin and follow with our Sacred Skin Face Serum for an all day glow.

Our Story

Sweet Bee Organics is born out of a life lived.

Hollie King, our founder, created Sweet Bee when she couldn't find a sun cream that she wanted to put on her boys skin. She made one and that started a journey into learning deeply about suncream, packaging and how to create a sustainable business.

In 2019, Hollie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cervical cancer. It was serious and she told herself should she survive, she would grow Sweet Bee and share her knowledge on all things wellness. She had surgery, but chose to opt out of chemo and radiation.

This was a hard decision, but she knew it was the right choice for her. When she was told the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, she did everything in her power to heal and using the power of mushrooms, she did just that.

Out of this great adversity, Sweet Bee Organics products were born and this journey still inspires her each day in her quest to create products that are holistic solutions to your every day problems.

It's been quite a journey, but every step has sewn a new seed. We look to the rhythm of the seasons, everyday experiences, our Sweet Bee community, and the changing world around us for inspiration. Life is our muse.

Our products are lovingly made for every moment in one's life. From childhood to motherhood and fatherhood to menopause and changes in our lives, we harness the riches that nature offers, like the magic of magnesium to help us sleep and the soothing power of mushrooms to heal our bodies - nature is our teacher.

And we're still learning, so there's lots more to come. For us, word of mouth is the most powerful testament to the success of our products. Sweet Sleep became a cult product thanks to people like you, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Best cleanser I've ever used

For context: I'm 47 years old with combination skin (mostly dry, but still prone to oily patches and occasional breakouts). My skin is also sensitive and I have rosacea. I've had to very carefully strip down and curate my skin care routine to find products that don't burn, irritate or cause breakouts but that still provide much needed moisture and cleansing.

So I don't change my routine lightly. I had tried other Sweet Bee products and decided I want to try them for my facial skin care as well. So I started by replacing my cleanser with this one and....just WOW. I have never, ever had my skin actually feel soft and clean while it's still wet. As soon as I rinsed it off, I could tell how good this was for my skin. I'm a few months in (finishing up my second pot) and I now order one as soon as I open my backup jar because I don't want to ever run out! This is the first cleanser that is effective but somehow doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and dry.

Note: This cleanser will sting if you get it in your eyes so be careful not to use it for eye makeup removal. I'm hoping Sweet Bee develops a pre-cleanser for make up removal too!

You need this cleanser!

I have been using the Glow Moisturizer, and it was so good I knew I had to try the cleanser. It's amazing. So soft on the skin but really cleans!! Leaving your face fresh and so soft. Added with the Glow.. it's perfect!

So happy I tried it!

I honestly was not looking for a new facial cleanser, but I am so glad I gave this a shot. It puts every other cleanser I have ever used in my 62 years to shame. It leaves my skin, soft, moisturized, but it still tackles the acne prone skin I have without overstrippping it. And a little goes a long long way! This is on my permanent list of products to buy. Now keep in mind I do not wear make up, so I don’t know how good it would be at makeup removal.

An excellent cleanser!

Just received the black soap cleanser and have used it for two days. I can’t believe how great it is. It really cleans the skin, evidenced by the elimination of those little black dots in the pores of my nose! I could never figure out how to remove them. Plus, it leaves my face soft and supple. I love it!
